HOW TO REGISTER AND CREATE YOUR ACCOUNT

1. Pay for your subscription;

2. After payment is accepted, your screen will display a link on where to register. You will also receive this link in a confirming email with your login information. The email will be from info @ ccidc.org so add this to your accepted list of email addresses if you have an automated spam blocker.
For best results Save the confirming email and print a copy for your files. It provides a link to your account and your username and password. 

3Click on the link to register with your contact information:
    a. Provide a username and password.
    Your username and password can be anything you want it to be.  Your username is permanent but you can always revise password anytime. If you ever change (or forget) your password you will receive a confirming email with your new password.
    For best results in choosing a username and password, do not use spaces, periods or slashes.    
    b. Fill in your First and Last name exactly as listed in the CCIDC database or you will receive an error. Do not use any appellations of any kind (no initials of CID or membership in associations). If you have a problem registering, please verify your name here refer to your CCIDC I.D. card or stamp.

    Enter your Certification number (enter number only, not # sign),
    Enter the rest of your contact information including address, email and your Website if you have one.  (be sure to use http:// before your web address or you will receive an
    error.

    If you do not want to enter information in certain non-required fields, type in --- dashes.

    c. Type your name at the bottom of the page, then click Submit.
    This process registers you in the system and goes to CCIDC for approval and posting in “The CID Pages” so consumers will find you by searching city, zip or by your name.

    d. You will then be taken to your Listing page where you can fill in your
    description and/or  upload your photos if you are ready. If not ready, close your browser, you can always login later to add photos and text.

    To preview or post your listing, first type your name at the bottom of the page, then click Submit. This puts your information into the system so you are able to preview it; it is also sent to CCIDC for review and publish.

    After you click Submit, you may preview your listing.

    Not satisfied with how your listing looks?
    That’s okay, continue editing or adding photos. Each time you edit text or add a photo,
    type your name at the bottom of the page, then click Submit to be able to preview your listing. Each time you revise your listing it goes to CCIDC for review and approval (Please allow up to 24 hours; but most revisions will be posted quicker than that).

HOW TO EDIT YOUR LISTING

Account login: www.ccidc.org/listings/login   This link is also on www.ccidc.org on the left side navigation button that says:  “Edit your CID Page” 

Enter your username and password. If you forgot your password, click on “Forgot your password?” Enter the email address you used at registration,  and your password will be emailed to you.

When you login, you can change your personal information, edit your listing to add text or photos, or preview your listing. Just follow the links.

To edit your listing go to the link that says:  “Click here to Edit your listing.”

HOW TO UPLOAD YOUR PHOTOS

    Your listing allows eight (8) digital photos of your choice (design projects, your logo or a photograph of yourself).

    First, login to:
    www.ccidc.org/listings/login
    Go to link: “Click here to Edit your listing.”

    Click on gray Browse button to find the photo you wish to upload. 

    Required format: Only JPEG, PNG and GIF images are eligible to upload.
    NO .tiff  or  .bmp

    Preferred size for upload: minimum 300 pixels wide, maximum 800 pixels wide.

    For best results, crop your photos to show the best elements in your picture, and resize to 500 pixels wide. Save to a different name so you don’t over-write your original photo

    Warning! If you have large high resolution photos, upload them one at a time. Most Internet Service Providers will block you from uploading too much at once. This is why we recommend reducing the size of your photos first, before uploading all eight at one time.

    You may delete or update your photos any time.

    To preview your photos, you must first
    type your name at the bottom of the page, then click Submit. (Please allow up to 24 hours for your photos to appear online)

HOW TO ADD YOUR DESCRIPTIVE TEXT

    Provide a brief bio of you and your work. You may wish to mention your education,  experience, fee structure or design approach. Be sure to include many "keywords" about your services to help consumers find your listing.

    For best results,  write your text in Word and save it. Your listing allows maximum of 800 "characters" (not "words"). Once saved,  copy and paste it into the dialogue box.   By creating and saving first, if something goes wrong, you haven’t lost it.  
     
    If you know HTML, it’s OK to use these tags:
    bold:<b>text</b>
    italicized:<i>text</i>
    Paragraph:<p> text </p>
    Line break: <br>  
    Two line breaks: <br><br>

ABOUT YOUR ACCOUNT

    You may login any time (24/7) to change your photos, text or personal information. There is no limit to the number of revisions you can make during the time your subscription is active.

    Listings are only for Certified Interior Designers who are current and in good standing with CCIDC. If you allow your certification to lapse, CCIDC reserves the right to
    “disable” your listing until your certification is renewed.

    For best results - Be sure to keep your e-mail address current on your listing. This will be the only way to retreive your password if you forget it, and the only way CCIDC can contact you through the system and for you to receive expiration reminders when your listing is about to expire. 

    If you do not renew your listing by the day it expires it will automatically become “disabled” and go offline. It will, however, be kept in our database for an additional 12 months. If you do not renew your listing after 12 months, it may be deleted permananently and you would have to re-register and create a new listing.

SEE YOUR LISTING

    To find your listing online, click here and find your listing by name. 

    For best results - When you find your listing, copy and paste your unique URL onto your Website or your auto signature. By linking to your CID Page from other Web sites or blogs, you increase your chances to be ranked higher in search engines as you drive traffic to your listing.
