Dates for the 2013 IDEX® California exam
The next exam window: May 1-30, 2013
Designers must register for the May IDEX and apply for certification by midnight March 1, 2013
Note: Anyone who registers after the deadline or does not meet the paperwork deadline will automatically deferred to the next exam
testing window.

Here's what you need to know after you register and complete all paperwork
(per above deadlines):
1) After CCIDC receives all paperwork we deliver all registered
candidate information to the testing vendor, Castle Worldwide, for scheduling.
2) Castle Worldwide will contact each candidate directly via e-mail with a Notice to Schedule (NTS).
Candidates will receive a username and password and will be directed to make their scheduling request at least seven (7) days prior to the date they wish to take the exam.
3) Once a
location, date and time have been determined the candidate will receive a Scheduling Confirmation Notice which will be their admission ticket to the test.
4) Each Scheduling
Confirmation Notice will contain their test date and time, location, and password. It will also contain directions (map) to the location and access to an online demo of the online test
delivery system so the candidate gets an idea of how the system works. The content of the sample exam does not include content from the IDEX California® certification examination.
