guidelines.

Job Title: Job Captain Job Category: Architecture (FFE0000251)
Primary responsibility shall be technical
support and coordination for architectural and engineering projects:
Develop, produce and coordinate construction documents for complex projects
Develop and produce architectural details and construction assemblies
Analyze building code requirements
Coordinate documents and project details with architects, engineering consultants, vendors
and contractors from design phase through construction
Coordinate documents with Fox Security, Telecommunications, Fire & Safety and Hazmat departments
Support pricing and bid analysis and value engineering efforts
Support permit process for projects requiring building permits
Support construction administration phase of projects:
o Support budget and schedule control
o Sketches and bulletins for change of scope
o Requests for information about scope
o Architectural and engineering coordination
o Maintenance of Change Orders
o Review and coordinate sub-contractor's Shop Drawings related to building
construction, methods and materials
o As-built record drawings - document in AutoCAD all changes to the project
Organize and maintain Fox AutoCAD database of plans and drawings
Produce presentation drawings and renderings as needed
Qualifications:
Certified Interior Designer;
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or related field;
Three to seven years of comprehensive technical experience in any of the following: architectural interiors, core and shell building
and engineering systems;
Extensive experience and knowledge in building codes, standards, building structures and Los Angeles City Building Code requirements;
Proficient in AutoCAD file management as well as AutoCAD use;
Experience in Photoshop and Illustrator;
The position is located in Los Angeles, CA 90067.
