Important Reminder! There are just 12 days left to register for the October IDEX® California exam!
The IDEX California® exam is given October 1 through 31, 2012.
Designers must register by midnight August 1, 2012 and *complete all paperwork by August 15, 2012. Paperwork includes school
transcripts, resume, proof of work experience, etc.
Give yourself some extra time to complete your paperwork by registering for the October 2012 IDEX today. Wednesday, August 1, by midnight is your deadline!
*Candidates who register on time but don’t meet the August 15 deadline will
automatically be enrolled in the May 2013 exam.
Do you live outside the USA? International testing centers for the IDEX exam are now available. Contact CCIDC for more information.

IDEX Results for the May 2012 Exam
We had 63 candidates take the May, 2012 IDEX® California examination and 55 passed. This is a 87.3% passing rate.
The highest score was 137 out of 150 questions. The lowest score was 77. The average score was 115.4. The “cut score” (the number of questions requiring a correct answer to pass) is 102.
Here is a breakdown by each Domain (section):
On the California Codes and Regulations section there were 46 questions. The highest score was 44. The lowest score was 19.
On the
Business Practices and Ethics section there were 53 questions. The highest score was 51. The lowest score was 33.
On the Design Standards section there were 51 questions.
The highest score was 46. The lowest score was 19.
CONGRATULATIONS to all those who passed!
We urge all those who have taken the IDEX exam and failed, to please try again.
